An Africa Day Short

A Film by FourTwo Creative

In celebration of Africa Day, FourTwo Creative conceptualized and produced a commemorative short honoring African women’s invaluable voices and contributions (past, present, and future) to liberation and equality movements across the continent. This campaign features spoken word by poet Cynthia Amoah.

“Africa Day is an annual acknowledgement of the successes of the Organisation of African Unity—today known as the African Union.”

Marking its creation on May 25, 1963 in the fight against colonialism and apartheid, Africa Day reflects on the progress that the continent has made as well as the common challenges that it faces in a global environment.
